PICTURE CAKES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR EARLY SHIPPING

All other cakes and products are available for early shipping

Due to our closure during the month of August, orders that are shipped early in July can be refrigerated for later serving.  Unfortunately, our "picture cakes" do not store well in the refrigerator or freezer.  This is because once removed from the refrigerator or freezer and warmed up to room temperature, the cake may "sweat" causing condensation to form on the surface of the cake.  This condensation can cause the colors to bead up and possibly run....therefore ruining the picture.  For this reason, we DO NOT recommend purchasing a picture cake early for serving any longer than one week after shipping.  All cakes are shelf-stable out of the refrigerator for at least one week after shipping. Condensation may also form on other products containing yogurt or carob if refrigerated, but it will NOT affect the quality of any other product other than making the surface moist, so all other products may be refrigerated for later use.  Please use the following guidelines for storing cakes during August that are shipped in July:

If you are serving your cake between August 1 and August 12, you can store cake in the refrigerator or freezer.  If stored in the freezer, completely thaw cake in the refrigerator 1-2 days prior to serving.

If you are serving your cake between August 13 and August 25, you MUST freeze your cake....and then completely thaw in the refrigerator 1-2 days prior to serving.

We apologize for any inconvenience our closure may cause you.

Thank you,

Natalie Marquardt
