We, at My Best Friend, would LOVE to be able to accommodate each and every customer for requested delivery dates while saving our customers shipping costs at the same time......however, as our business has grown immensely, we must put "cut-off" dates in-place for ordering time-sensitive products such as birthday cakes. We do not "mass produce"our products....we bake and decorate to order. This is the only way we can continue to provide the freshest product, personalized and customized to your specifications....products and service that we have become famous for. Please use the chart below to determine your delivery date and shipping method options available to you. Prices are not listed below because your final order will determine pricing. Shipping estimates will be listed upon checkout.

Please Note: All orders may be subject to additional shipping costs (in addition to estimate given upon checkout) under the following circumstances:
1. Large Orders requiring large or multiple shipping boxes
2. Bulky Orders requiring oversized shipping boxes

6. Shipping upgrades, for instance...changing from Priority Mail to Fedex or from Fedex 2-Day to Fedex Overnight
Shipping Guidelines
We require a minimum of 2 full days from order placement to shipping date to allow for order processing. If you are ordering late....please contact us prior to ordering to make sure your order can be processed in time for your needs. Additional shipping charges may apply for late orders.
Please select a delivery date that is ONE day prior to the serving date, or Friday for weekend serving.
To receive the freshest product possible, do NOT request earlier delivery dates.
US Post Office 2-3 Day Priority Mail does not guarantee delivery dates....FEDEX does.
To avoid the Saturday delivery surcharge that FEDEX charges, please select a weekday (if time allows) for your delivery date.
Orders shipping at times affected by Holidays will be delayed by one day. Please take that into consideration when selecting your delivery date.
My Best Friend cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery due to the fault of carriers. However, we will be happy to file a Fedex claim on your behalf.
Special Information for San Diego Residents
San Diego residents may pick up orders at My Best Friend if preferred. We are in Mira Mesa. When checking out, there will be an option for "pick up" with no shipping charges imposed. Once your order is placed, if you are planning to pick up your order, please contact us by email at mybestfriend@san.rr.com or by phone at (858) 271-0334 to arrange a date and time to pick up. Local orders must still follow the above guidelines for processing time and must be placed no later than the "order by date" on the chart and can be picked up on the "Ships On" date.
Pick up hours are Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.....or after 5:30 p.m.
